A tragic incident unfolded as Thalia Chaverria, a student-athlete at New Mexico State University, unexpectedly passed away shortly after celebrating her 20th birthday.
Chaverria, who was preparing to embark on her junior year at the university, was discovered unresponsive in her New Mexico residence on Monday morning. Despite the prompt response from emergency personnel, she was pronounced deceased.
