Blue State Calls On Residents To Take Illegal Immigrants Into Their Homes

Massachusetts officials, led by Governor Maura Healey (D), have initiated a program encouraging residents to open their homes and apartments to border crossers and illegal aliens, as the state’s homeless population continues to be impacted by illegal immigration.
According to a report by WBUR, the state is seeking individuals who are willing to host newly arrived families in need of shelter. These hosts are requested to provide a room or apartment for a few days, until longer-term accommodations can be arranged for the individuals and families.
A substantial number of families requiring housing assistance in Massachusetts consist of new immigrants, with many of them having sought refuge in Boston after fleeing violence in Haiti and navigating through other states before arriving in Massachusetts.
