Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) had pledged to return campaign contributions from Nishad Singh, an executive at FTX who pleaded guilty to making illegal campaign contributions amounting to millions of dollars.
However, campaign finance records reveal that as of now, the two vulnerable Democrats have not yet returned the money.
In February, Rosen’s campaign announced its intention to return a $2,900 contribution from Nishad Singh, who previously served as the head of engineering at FTX. Likewise, a spokesperson for Joe Manchin’s campaign informed the Washington Free Beacon on June 6 that the campaign intended to return Singh’s money after his guilty plea earlier in the year for fraud and campaign finance violations.
