NBA Star Signs Record $304M Basketball Contract

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown is set to ink the most lucrative deal in NBA history, agreeing to a five-year, $304 million supermax extension, according to his agent, Jason Glushon, who confirmed the news to ESPN.
Brown’s eligibility for the supermax extension was earned by receiving All-NBA Second Team honors during the 2022-23 season. The extension will take effect in the 2024-25 season, with Brown earning an unprecedented $52.4 million in that single season, making it the highest amount ever paid to a player in a single NBA season.
Furthermore, in the final year of the contract, Brown is slated to make an astounding $69.1 million. This record-breaking deal cements Jaylen Brown’s place as one of the highest-paid players in NBA history.
