Jeopardy! is making changes to its schedule due to a writers strike.
Sony Pictures Television, the producer of the popular game show, has decided to delay the Tournament of Champions following a boycott threat from former winners who oppose the use of “recycled material” for questions.
A spokesperson clarified that Jeopardy! had no plans for a Tournament of Champions in Season 39 until the strike is resolved. As a result, the show will temporarily focus on original episodes featuring the best of their WGA written material.
