Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis of Georgia has declared her team’s readiness to proceed with their investigation into alleged attempts by former President Donald Trump and his associates to overturn the 2020 presidential election, after more than two years of diligent inquiry.
In an interview with local NBC affiliate WXIA over the weekend, the prosecutor affirmed her commitment to making significant determinations during the fourth term of the Fulton County Superior Court, which encompasses the period from July 11 to September 1.
“We have completed our work,” Willis stated. “Over the course of two and a half years, we have been diligently working on this matter, and now we are prepared to take the next steps.”
