Excuses, Excuses

On Sunday, Ashley Allison, a former aide to Kamala Harris, said the vice president’s historically low approval rating is largely influenced by the fact that she is a “Black woman” and a “history maker.”
During a roundtable discussion on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former Trump aide and co-host of “The View,” argued that Harris could be a political liability with swing voters. Griffin cautioned against putting her front and center in the campaign, considering her abysmal approval rating.
The conversation revolved around Republican primary candidates’ efforts to target Harris, emphasizing President Biden’s age and the potential of a “President Harris” if he is reelected.
