Louisiana GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy said on Sunday he thinks former President Trump should drop out of the 2024 presidential race.
“I think so,” Cassidy said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” when asked whether Trump should drop out, amid several criminal cases against time.
While acknowledging it’s just his opinion, Cassidy argued polls show Trump would lose to Biden if wins the party primary and faces the Democrat incumbent in the General Election.
