Tornado Confirmed Near Charleston, SC; Watch Remains In Effect

Charleston experienced the confirmation of a tornado on Wednesday afternoon. Meteorologists are issuing alerts regarding the possibility of airborne debris, as well as potential structural impact to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Currently, a tornado watch is actively enforced until 10 p.m. ET across specific areas in Georgia and the Carolinas.
This watch encompasses locations such as Savannah, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Wilmington. Additionally, there exists a risk of hail and wind gusts reaching speeds of up to 70 mph.
