House Oversight Committee Demands National Archive Emails In Hunter Biden Investigation

The House Oversight and Accountability Committee, under Republican leadership, has issued a demand to the National Archives, seeking broader access to records from Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president.
Specifically, the committee has requested “unrestricted special access” to a case record titled “Records on Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Their Foreign Business Dealings,” which has recently become publicly available due to an ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by America First Legal.
This move follows the committee’s previous request to the National Archives to release records from Joe Biden’s vice presidential years, focusing on the periods that coincided with his son Hunter’s activities in Ukraine. The committee is particularly interested in emails associated with pseudonyms like “Robert Peters,” “Robin Ware,” and “JRB Ware.”
