Proud Boys leader Joe Biggs bashed the judge’s decision to slap him with a 17-year prison sentence for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the US Capitol. Biggs spoke of the judge’s decision, in which the judge said the intent of the long sentence was to be a strong warning to the American people saying. “They want you scared,” Biggs told Alex Jones.
Biggs, a Florida military veteran, said that the case against him and others involved in the Jan. 6 riot was politically motivated.
“We went there that day with no plan, with nothing,” Biggs told Jones. “We were there like every other American, but because we’re a political group…They’re going to put us in chains.”
