Attorneys for former President Donald Trump on Monday asked the federal judge presiding over their client’s election subversion case in Washington, D,C.
The attorneys want U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan to recuse herself, over concerns past public statements about the defendant call into question whether she can be fair.
Chutkan, is a President Obama know for handing out some of the toughest sentences for Jan. 6 defendants.
