Trump Leads By 28 Points In SC, DeSantis Drops To Fourth

Former President Donald Trump continues to enjoy significant popularity within the Republican Party, making it challenging for Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis to secure a dominant position in the presidential primary field.
A recent Monmouth University poll, conducted in collaboration with The Washington Post, indicates that Governor DeSantis is currently polling at just 9%, placing him in fourth position among GOP presidential candidates.
In contrast, Trump commands a substantial lead with 46% support, boasting a 28-point advantage over his closest rival. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has experienced a surge in popularity, garnering 18% support, while Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina has reached double digits, securing 10% support.
