‘Stay Strong’: Fans Cheer Brand At Gig Following Assault Allegations

Russell Brand was met by scores of cheering fans as he arrived at his sold-out Wembley gig hours after being accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse.
Breaking cover this evening, Brand arrived at Wembley’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre almost an hour late to perform his show Bipolarisation after getting ‘stuck in traffic on the M40’.
Tonight’s show comes after four women alleged sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013, when Brand was at the height of his fame, working for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 as well as starring in Hollywood films.
