Florida officials have killed a roughly 14-foot-alligator after reports the reptile had a women in its jaws while swimming canal Friday in the Tampa area.
The victim was identified Saturday as Sabrina Peckham, 41, and reportedly homeless when found trespassing July 14 on Pinellas County wetlands.
Eyewitness and news reports give conflicting details about whether the alligators was killed with the victim in its mouth.
