Musk made this announcement in a post on X, which was previously known as Twitter and is also owned by him. His decision to visit came after a conversation with Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, who confirmed the severity of the situation.
Musk shared his intentions in a tweet, expressing concerns about the overwhelming number of migrants, reaching an all-time high and continuing to rise. He stated, “Am going to visit Eagle Pass later this week to see what’s going on for myself.”
