Last week, California’s Democratic Attorney General, Rob Bonta, initiated a lawsuit against two pro-life pregnancy crisis centers pertaining to their advertising of “abortion pill reversal.”
On Thursday, Bonta officially announced the lawsuit against Heartbeat International and RealOptions Obria, alleging that these clinics disseminated “misinformation” and engaged in false advertising.
Bonta specifically stated that abortion pill reversal is regarded as “scientifically unproven and risky.” He accused these religious clinics of “misleading patients” regarding the “risky experimental protocol.” Furthermore, the Attorney General encouraged individuals who believe they have been subjected to “deceptive, misleading, or unlawful conduct” to submit complaints.
