Trump Suing British Spy Christopher Steele Over Russia Dossier Hoax

Former President Donald Trump has initiated a data protection lawsuit against former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele and his firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, in the UK’s High Court, as indicated by court records.
This legal action is connected to the controversial Steele dossier, which contained a series of explosive allegations regarding Trump’s purported ties to Russia prior to his inauguration in January 2017.
The dossier gained widespread attention when it was published by Buzzfeed, and Steele had been retained by Fusion GPS, a research firm based in Washington, D.C., with funding from the law firm Perkins Coie, acting on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee. A two-day hearing for Trump’s legal challenge is set to commence on October 16.
