A recent survey by Rasmussen Reports reveals that a significant majority, specifically 57 percent, of former President Donald Trump’s grassroots supporters are unconcerned about his choice for a running mate in the 2024 presidential election.
Pollsters from Rasmussen presented respondents with various options regarding Trump’s potential Vice President, including whether specific attributes like being female, black, or non-political would make them more likely to vote for the 45th President.
None of the options garnered more than 15 percent of support. Only 13 percent indicated they would be more inclined to vote for Trump if he selected a female candidate, while eight percent expressed a similar sentiment if he chose a black running mate.
