Google, Apple Disable Map Functions In Gaza, Israel As Invasion Appears Near

Google and Apple have disabled some features in their mapping applications in Israel and the Gaza Strip, as Israel appears ready to invade Gaza.
The disabling of some of the function is reportedly in response to a request by the Israel Defense Forces.
Among the features reportedly being disable are one that show real-time crowding data, over concerns live traffic information revealing the movements of Israeli armed forces.
Google’s actions will impact its Google Maps and the tech giant’s Waze products.
