Ex-White House Lawyer Predicts Trump Will Be Jailed For Violating Gag Order

Former White House lawyer Ty Cobb expressed his belief that if former President Trump violates the partial gag order in his federal election interference case, he could face imprisonment. This comes after the reinstatement of the gag order on Sunday.
The gag order is designed to prevent Trump from making disparaging comments about court staff or witnesses involved in the case.
Trump was fined $15,000 for violating a less restrictive order in his New York civil fraud trial on two occasions. Cobb, in a CNN interview on Monday, noted that Trump was fined $10,000 by the New York judge in a civil case, emphasizing that this is less significant than the case overseen by Judge Chutkan.
