China’s Biggest Bank Hit By Cyberattack

The U.S. financial services division of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) faced a cyberattack, reportedly impacting trading.
ICBC, the world’s largest lender by assets, revealed on Thursday that its financial services arm, ICBC Financial Services, encountered a ransomware attack leading to disruptions in certain systems.
Upon detecting the hack, ICBC promptly took measures to isolate the affected systems, aiming to contain the incident, as stated by the state-owned bank.
