Over the weekend, a woman was discovered dead in a Florida storage unit registered to her estranged husband, who is now the primary suspect in her murder, according to authorities.
Shakeira Rucker, initially reported missing about a week prior, was found with an apparent gunshot wound. Orange County Sheriff John Mina revealed this information during a Sunday news conference.
The sheriff’s office had been aiding the Winter Springs Police Department in the search for Rucker, which extended across multiple Florida counties after her disappearance earlier in the month.
