Navy Plane Overshoots Runway in Hawaii, Plunges Into Bay

A U.S. Navy plane overshot a runway plunged into a bay in Hawaii, the military said Monday.
The accident involving a P8-A aircraft occurred at the Marine base on Kaneohe Bay, about 10 miles from Honolulu on Ohau.
A Marine spokesperson said late Monday he had no further information, including details on possible injuries.
The Boeing-made aircraft is often used to hunt for submarines and used in reconnaissance and intelligence gathering.
