Over 300 Migrants Living At San Diego Airport As Border Crisis Continues

The San Diego International Airport is experiencing an influx of migrants waiting for flights out of the region, with over 300 individuals residing there last week. Some migrants were observed sitting on the floor for extended periods.

“It’s grown exponentially, and we’re not totally sure why,” said Krystle Johnson, a volunteer with We All We Got, to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
“It’s almost becoming a second [migrant welcome] center because there’s so many people there,” she said of the airport.
