US To Return To Moon After 50 Years

After more than 50 years since the last Apollo mission, the United States is set to attempt a lunar landing once again on January 25, as announced by the head of the potentially first private company to achieve this feat.
The unmanned lander, named Peregrine, is a creation of the American company Astrobotic. According to CEO John Thornton, Peregrine will carry NASA instruments to explore the lunar environment in preparation for NASA’s upcoming Artemis manned missions.
In recent years, NASA chose to engage U.S. companies in the CLPS program, commissioning them to transport scientific experiments and technologies to the moon.
