GOP Rep Says Santos Personally Defrauded Him–And His Mom

Shortly before the congressional vote to expel George Santos, a fellow Republican congressman, Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio), accused Santos of personally defrauding him and his mother.
In a letter obtained by NBC News, Miller revealed that he discovered Santos’ campaign had charged his personal credit card, as well as his mother’s, for contributions that surpassed FEC limits.
Miller emphasized that neither he nor his mother had authorized or been aware of these charges. Following Miller’s accusations, the House voted 311-114 in favor of expelling Santos.
