Police on Saturday identified the woman found a day earlier at the bottom of a trash compactor shoot in New York City as 24-year-old Jaclyn Elmquist.
The chute is in a luxury condo building in which the victim was not a resident and in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood.
The woman’s cause and manner of death has yet to be determined but foul play is not suspected.
