After an undefeated regular season and a Conference USA championship, the Liberty Flames are headed to the New Years Six.
On Sunday, the Flames were revealed by the College Football Playoff selection committee to be the #23 team in the nation and the highest ranked G5 team, ahead of #24 SMU.
Liberty have had an average margin of victory of 17 points this year. It’s a monumental achievement for a program that just entered FBS in 2018 with a coach that just got there and a group of players that had a lot to prove.
