Michigan Democrat Staffer Kisses Satanic Statue At Capitol, Calls It ‘Sexy’

A Satanic statue erected in front of the Michigan State Capitol has generated controversy and outrage among Christians. The Satanic Temple, which erected the statue, claims that Satanic altars promote “religious diversity.” Seven Republican state legislators stated their opposition in a letter and called for the statue’s removal.

Samantha Skorka, a Democrat staffer, added fuel to the fire by posting a picture of herself kissing the satanic statue on social media. She was standing in front of the statue and the caption read, “In the name of Satan, I claim the sexy satanic Baphomet goat altar at OUR Michigan Capitol. Amen.”

Skorka later deleted the post and proclaimed that it was just a joke. She also sent pagan holiday solstice greetings on social media with a goat emoji.

The Satanic statue was erected on the Capitol grounds, and state officials have been criticized for granting permission for it. The statue has drawn criticism from local religious groups who argue that it glorifies evil and promotes anti-Christian beliefs.

The Republican state legislators’ letter to the Capitol Commission requested the Satanic statue’s removal. The lawmakers believe that the statue contradicts the nation’s foundational principles and promotes a public display of evil.

The Capitol Commission has yet to address the demands of the lawmakers, and it remains uncertain whether the Satanic statue will be removed or remain as part of the Capitol’s controversial art collection.
