HHS Mandates That Staff Used ‘Preferred Pronouns’

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued a mandate that all employees are required to use “preferred pronouns.”

The policy was confirmed by transgender “Admiral” Rachel Levine,. The policy was revealed in an internal HHS email obtained by the Heritage Foundation’s Roger Severino.

The email, which is titled “HHS Gender Non-Discrimination and Inclusion Policy,” celebrates “National Coming Out Day.” The policy aims to create an environment that is welcoming and safe for all employees, including those who identify as transgender or non-binary.

The policy also introduces a Gender Identity Non-Discrimination and Inclusion Guidance that outlines the rights and protections for employees related to their gender identity. The HHS hopes that this policy will ensure all employees feel seen, respected, and protected.

Furthermore, the policy will address workplace changes such as legal name changes, and will provide procedures to ensure that employees’ gender expressions are safeguarded.

This is a significant development in the fight for transgender rights in the US. The HHS’s mandate will likely face backlash from conservative groups who may see it as an intrusion into their free speech. However, the HHS’s goal is to create an inclusive environment for all employees.
