State Sen. Says Whistleblower Tipped Him Off To Migrants Housed At Atlanta Airport

Migrants were reportedly found in a concealed room at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, awaiting flights to various cities across the nation, as disclosed by Georgia State Senator Colton Moore on Friday.

Sen. Moore, acting on a whistleblower’s tip, dispatched a camera team to the Atlanta airport to investigate the alleged situation at the world’s busiest airport. During an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Moore discussed the encounter with volunteers, captured on camera, who vehemently opposed recording their interaction.

“We got a whistleblower, who gave us a tip about this hidden room, and I had a full team there with some different cameras in different places, and said on Monday and Tuesday nights, there’s just an influx of these people who come to the airport, kind of when the traffic is much lower at the airport,” explained Moore to host Lawrence Jones, who characterized the situation as “shady business.”

Detailing the findings, Moore highlighted that the migrants were located in a concealed room with no surveillance cameras, emphasizing that the area resembled a construction zone, complete with barricades and caution tape. In the footage, a U.S. service member can be observed stationed outside the door.

In an exchange with a volunteer near the hidden room, Moore inquired, “Are you guys transporting anybody anywhere?”

The volunteer responded affirmatively, stating, “Yeah, we’re all getting them flights to where they need to be.” The volunteer asserted that these were documented travelers released from ICE and were being transported to their respective destinations.
