Biden-McCarthy Restart On Debt Talks ‘Productive’

Things seem to be getting better in the debt ceiling talks.
After their first meeting Monday night in the restart process, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said there was a better feeling about cutting a deal with President Biden.
“I think the tone tonight was better than any other night we’ve had discussions,” McCarthy said.
But it was just a start as the talks are expected to ramp up with hopes of an agreement as soon as Friday.
