A Los Angeles City councilman has been charged with multiple counts of embezzlement, perjury and conflict of interest.
The charges against Councilman Curren Price were announced late Tuesday by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office.
Price faces five counts of embezzlement of government money, two counts of conflict of interest and three counts of perjury, according to a statement from the District Attorney.
