‘As I Was Saying’

GOP presidential nominee former President Trump returned Saturday to Butler, Pennsylvania, to hold a campaign rally where in July a sniper attempted to assassinate.

“As I was saying,” Trump first said when he first took the stage, before thanking law enforcement for taking out the sniper, the doctors and staff who helped him and to mourn those wounded and one person who was fatally shot.

Trump was grazed in the right ear by one of the sniper’s bullets on. July 13.

He held a moment of silence at 6:11 p.m., the exact time the sniper shot into the rally, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore and wounding the others.

“God Bless you Corey,” Trump said.
