The allegations about what happened to NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins are in a civil suit filed by his wife, Kalabrya Haskins.
The lawsuit was filed in Broward County, Fla., and argues the former Washington quarterback was drugged, blackmailed and robbed before he was hit by a truck and killed while trying to cross Interstate 595 in South Florida in the early morning hours of April 9, 2022.
The suit more specifically alleges that four people drugged Haskins, who was 24 at the time, to “blackmail and rob him, causing him and/or contributing to cause him severe injury and death.”
The suit was filed on behalf of Haskins’s parents.
