CUNY Law Student Doubles Down On ‘Anti-American’ Speech: ‘Would Not Change A Word’

Fatima Mousa Mohammed, in response to criticisms labeling her CUNY Law commencement speech as “evil,” “anti-American,” “anti-Semitic,” and a “blatant call for insurrection,” spoke out about the matter in an interview with Jewish Currents on Wednesday.

Mohammed expressed her unwavering stance on the speech, stating that she would not alter a single word and would even amplify her message. However, she revealed that she had been facing harassment and receiving threats, which were negatively impacting her preparations for the New York Bar exam.

While attempting to study for the bar exam, Mohammed recounted comments she had received, such as “I can’t wait until we’re at your funeral” and “I would pay to see you get killed,” which added further strain to her situation.
