President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday announced that Brooke Rollins would serve as the Secretary of Agriculture.
“Brooke’s commitment to support the American Farmer, defense of American Food Self-Sufficiency, and the restoration of Agriculture-dependent American Small Towns is second to none,” Trump said in an emailed statement.
Rollins is a former domestic policy adviser to Trump and is the current president of America First Policy Institute.
Rollins spoke to Trump about the potential job offer earlier this week.
