Marjorie Taylor Greene Booted From Freedom Caucus

On Thursday, a member of the House Freedom Caucus confirmed that the conservative group had conducted a vote to expel Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), confirming an earlier report by POLITICO.

According to Representative Andy Harris (R-MD), “A vote was taken to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House Freedom Caucus for some of the things she’s done.”

While Harris did not disclose his own vote, he deemed the decision to remove her as “an appropriate action.” When asked if this meant Greene was formally expelled, Harris, who serves on the group’s board, stated, “As far as I know, that is the way it is.”
