10 IEDs Found At Southern Border In Cartel Gunfight

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents have been issued an internal officer safety alert, dated December 13th, cautioning them to remain vigilant following the Mexican military’s seizure of 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the border.
The alert comes after Tucson border patrol observed gunshots at the U.S.-Mexico border.
A supervisory border patrol agent in Tucson apprehended an armed individual on the U.S. side with a loaded AK-47 rifle, two loaded AK magazines, loose rounds, and a handgun. CBP is urging agents to “exercise extreme caution” and report any potentially armed individuals approaching the border with possible explosive devices, as per the memo.
