As per documents examined by Breitbart Texas, agents deployed across the nine southwest Border Patrol sectors recorded over 187,000 migrant detentions in October. This marks the fourth consecutive month with apprehensions exceeding 130,000 migrants.
In addition to the aforementioned 187,000-plus detentions, agents documented more than 30,000 migrants as “known gotaways.” This estimate pertains to migrants who were observed crossing the border but were not detained by agents.
