$451 Billion: That’s The Estimated Cost Of Biden’s Border Crisis

Since Joe Biden was elected and took office, the United States has experienced an unprecedented influx of people trying to cross the border illegally. While some are turned away, millions have been released into the country, or escaped custody, with the cost of providing for them being borne by the American taxpayer.
A new interim report compiled by the House Republicans’ Committee on Homeland Security has revealed that the current administration’s open-border policies could have locals on the hook for as much as $451 billion.
“Every day, millions of American taxpayer dollars are spent on costs directly associated with illegal immigration and the unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border sparked by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ policies,” the report states, noting that, “Only a small fraction is ever recouped from the taxes paid by illegal aliens, with the rest falling on the shoulders of American citizens and lawful residents.”
