A tragic helicopter crash near Mount Everest in Nepal has claimed the lives of six individuals, including five Mexican tourists and a Nepalese pilot.
Authorities in Nepal reported that the helicopter crashed in the Lamajura area on Tuesday. Following the incident, rescue teams swiftly responded and successfully retrieved the bodies of all six passengers, as stated in a press release.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal confirmed that the group of tourists consisted of two men and three women, all of whom were Mexican nationals. The pilot, who tragically lost his life in the crash, was identified as Nepalese.
