Nine more women filed a lawsuit against Bill Cosby in a Nevada federal court on Wednesday, alleging that the disgraced comedian drugged and sexually assaulted them.
This legal action emerges shortly after Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo signed legislation eliminating a law mandating that adults must file sexual assault charges within two years of the alleged incident.
The newly filed cases by the women recount incidents that occurred between 1979 and 1992. The lawsuit adds to the already substantial number of women who have accused Cosby of similar offenses spanning several decades.
