Alec Baldwin Got Away With It, No Payment In J6 Defamation Suit Of US Marine

A New York federal judge dismissed a lawsuit this fall accusing Alec Baldwin of defaming the family of a Wyoming Marine killed in Afghanistan, and no settlement payout was made, sources show.
Rylee McCollum’s widow and sisters accused Baldwin of subjecting them to online harassment after he reposted a photo shared by McCollum’s sister, Roice, of her attending a demonstration on Jan. 6, 2021 — the day of the United States Capitol riot.
The lawsuit alleged Roice and the family was quickly subjected to “hostile, aggressive, hateful” messages.
