An American sailer who launched from Washington state on Oct. 12 but didn’t return as planned a few days later has been found and rescued by two Canadian fishermen.
The unidentified sailer was spotted Thursday in a life raft off the coast of Ucluelet, British Columbia, Canada, about 70 miles from where he departed.
A second sailer on the boat remains missing, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
