Axios CEO Jim VandeHei and Politico editor in chief Matt Kaminski got into a heated confrontation following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
VandeHei reportedly was at Politico, which he also cofounded but left on bad terms, for running what he called a “snarky, cynical, and inaccurate” profile of him.
VandeHei wrote that he put down his drink, got up in Kaminski’s face, blasted his “bullish*t” profile and boasted that he had poached two writers from Politico’s staff.
