As Israeli military forces increase their ground operations against Hamas in Gaza, its fighter jets are dropped leaflets over Gaza city warning residents that the area was now a “battlefield.”
The leaflets dropped Saturday also tell residents that shelters in northern Gaza were not safe and that they should “evacuate immediately.”
Israel’s war against the Hamas follows the Palestinian militant group’s deadly Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel soil.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his country is now in the second phase of its three-week-old war, which moves toward more group attacks in addition to tanks and air strikes.
