Biden Admin Released Migrant On Terror Watchlist

According to a report released by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency, under the Biden administration, released an illegal immigrant who was on the terrorist watchlist.

Due to a lack of coordination, it took U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) more than two weeks to apprehend the individual.

The report, finalized last week, revealed that in April 2022, the CBP apprehended the illegal immigrant in Arizona. However, the CBP released the individual without providing requested information to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) which would have confirmed the migrant’s identity as a positive match with the Terrorist Screening Data Set (Terrorist Watchlist). As a result, the individual was able to evade immediate arrest by ICE for over two weeks.
