Israeli citizens are joining an exclusive club that will allow visa-free entry to the United States, a decision that comes despite tensions with Washington over the treatment of Palestinians and divisive domestic policies pursued by the country’s right-wing government.

The decision also means all U.S. citizens will be able to request visa-free entry to Israel as part of that country’s reciprocity agreement.
